A child in a womb away from her mother
The first part of the work was painted in 2009, months after my whole family - my parents, and sister- migrated to the United States
I was in Manila, studying medicine in those years.
Though I know that I can stand on my own. I felt that I am still a child longing for the love of my family.
Days after my graduation from med school, I finished my piece.
